This website is operated by Kindred Studios Strandhill. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our Shopify store and any purchases made through it. These Terms are drafted to comply with applicable Irish and European Union consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and EU (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013.

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Contract Formation

All orders placed through the website constitute an offer to purchase. A contract is only formed when we issue an order confirmation email accepting your order.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for legitimate reasons, including suspected fraud or product unavailability.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable
  • Delivery charges are displayed at checkout
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If an error is identified, you will be given the option to reconfirm or cancel your order.

4. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However:

  • Colours may vary depending on display devices
  • Handmade or small-batch items may vary slightly

This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only

Under Irish law, goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you. Risk transfers upon receipt of the goods.

If goods are not delivered within 30 days, you have the right to cancel the contract and receive a full refund.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Cooling-Off Period)

Under EU law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

Exceptions (as permitted by law):

  • Custom-made or personalised items
  • Sealed goods not suitable for return once opened (e.g. hygiene items)

7. Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods
  • Refunds are made using the original payment method
  • Standard delivery costs will be refunded (excluding premium delivery options)

You are responsible for return shipping costs unless goods are faulty.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, you are entitled to goods that are:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If goods are faulty, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, or refund.

Please contact us within a reasonable time and provide evidence where possible.

9. Digital Content (if applicable)

If you purchase digital products:

  • You may lose your right to cancel once download/streaming begins with your consent
  • We will inform you of this before purchase
